Scottish climber Will Bosi has wrapped up his Swiss bouldering trip with two hard first ascents—Brain Rot (Font 8C+) in Magic Wood and Kyanite (Font 8C) in Val Bavona.
Both problems were originally opened as projects by legendary climber Dave Graham, and Bosi managed to send them in just two sessions each. Brain Rot is described as a powerful crimp line, requiring precise movement through a three-move sequence on small incut edges. Kyanite, on the other hand, is a left-hand variation of Axenite (Font 8B+), featuring a steep roof section and a desperate Gaston deadpoint move to finish.
During his trip, Bosi also climbed ten boulders between Font 8A+ and 8C+, including classics like Captain Nemo (Font 8C), Axenite (Font 8B+), and Space Cadet (Font 8B+). His ascents were part of a film project with Adidas FiveTen, which will be released later this year.
Following his Swiss success, Bosi has returned to the UK to focus on local projects, but his achievements continue to push the boundaries of modern bouldering
