The Ralsko Uplands offer more than 300 routes – most in the Děvín forest near Hamr na Jezeře, with more at Vajoletky, near Janovice v Podještědí and on the Skály pod Ralskem (Vranovské skály). Vertical walls dominate, often in the shade, with fixed and textile protection; grades from 1 to 9/9+.

Rules

On sandstone the ČHS sandstone rules apply – no chalk, no metal protection and dry rock only. On other rock the ČHS rules for Czech rock areas apply.

Much of the area lies in the Lusatian Mountains PLA. Check the ČHS crag database for any closures before you go.
