Rules
- Žďár Nature Reserve. - Entry off marked trails and climbing is allowed only for members of the ČHS (Czech Mountaineering Association); for others only in the company of a ČHS member. - Climbing is allowed only on the Malý oltář, Velký oltář, and Vyhlídková skála rocks. - The shortest route from the marked trail must be chosen to reach the rocks. - Expanding mountaineering signs, routes, and belaying is not allowed.
Climbing permanently prohibited except on Vyhlídková skála, Velký oltář and Malý oltář; these three rocks are closed seasonally from 1 January to 30 June.
The ČHS rules for Czech rock areas and the local regional commission's rules apply: do not alter the rock or holds, do not climb on wet rock, and follow ČHS principles for first ascents.
