Climbing 'Route: 13' (grade 7) in Gschöss was a memorable experience. The route itself felt steeper than anticipated, especially after the initial few meters. The rock was mostly solid, providing reassuring holds, but required precise footwork to navigate the subtle bulges and crimps. The crux, I think, was near the middle section, demanding a powerful move between two small holds with limited foot support. Finding the right body position and engaging the core was key to unlocking it. After the crux, the climbing remained challenging but more manageable, leading to a satisfying finish with beautiful views of the surrounding Gschössertal valley. While not the hardest grade 7 I've climbed, 'Route: 13' definitely demanded respect and careful planning. The exposure also added a little spice to the ascent!
