Neue Schillerkante

Climbing the "Neue Schillerkante" (New Schiller Edge) on Hohe Wand is a classic and rewarding experience, offering sustained and exposed climbing on solid limestone. The route is graded 6/6+ (UIAA), making it suitable for experienced climbers comfortable at that grade.

The route follows a prominent edge, providing excellent views across the surrounding landscape. Expect mostly vertical or slightly overhanging sections with good holds, interspersed with traverses and delicate moves. The rock is generally very solid and well-featured, but some polishing can be expected due to the popularity of the route.
