Rope Length: 70m

Climbing "Friedl" (6/6+) in Kreuzwand Rechter Teil is a fantastic and challenging alpine experience. The route is known for its sustained climbing on solid, yet sometimes polished, limestone. The crux sections typically involve delicate face climbing and powerful moves on small holds. Expect a good mix of slab, vertical wall, and maybe even a slight overhang. While relatively well-protected with bolts, some runouts can still add to the excitement, requiring confident movement between protection points. The views from the Kreuzwand are, of course, spectacular, making the effort worthwhile. Be prepared for a long day, as the approach and descent can be time-consuming. Consider bringing a standard rack of quickdraws and a few longer slings to minimize rope drag. Stamina and technical proficiency are essential for enjoying "Friedl" and climbing it cleanly.
