Our latest climbing adventure took us to the charming 'Little Wall' to tackle the classic route, 'Servi Della Gleba,' a delightful grade 5 climb. The morning air was crisp, our gear meticulously checked, and the aroma of coffee lingered as we exchanged a shared glance of anticipation. The short hike to the base was filled with excited chatter about the upcoming pitches.

The first pitch began with a straightforward crack system, warming us up nicely. Good holds and solid placements allowed us to quickly get into a comfortable rhythm. The route truly unveiled its character on the second pitch: a beautifully exposed slab section demanded precise footwork, followed by an engaging corner system. The holds, though sometimes subtle, were always there, leading us to a surprisingly comfortable belay ledge with truly panoramic views.

The final pitch offered more enjoyable climbing, a mix of sustained face climbing and a short, airy traverse that felt much more exposed than its grade suggested. Reaching the top, the sense of accomplishment was immense. We lingered for a moment, soaking in the quiet vastness and discussing the highlights of the climb, before starting our descent. 'Servi Della Gleba' is more than just a grade 5; it's a journey through good rock, offering a satisfying challenge and rewarding views. A true classic on the 'Little Wall' that lives up to its humble yet evocative name.
