Climbing "Blut und Tränen" (Blood and Tears), a 7- (5.11d) in Nick-Neck, was a deeply satisfying experience. The route name hints at the demanding nature of the climb, and it certainly lived up to it. From the start, the sustained technical climbing required precise footwork and body positioning. The crux section, likely in the middle, demanded commitment and trust in small crimps. Despite the physical and mental exertion, the feeling of clipping the chains after successfully navigating the route was incredibly rewarding. The exposed position on Nick-Neck added to the overall sense of accomplishment. It's a climb that pushes you, but one that ultimately leaves you feeling stronger and more confident.
