Love Story

Climbing 'Love Story' in the Rofan Mountains was a truly unforgettable experience. This route, graded 7-, offers a beautiful line up a steep, sun-drenched face. The rock is generally solid limestone, providing excellent friction and interesting features. The crux section, typically found mid-route, involves a delicate traverse and some powerful crimps that test both technique and endurance. The exposure is significant, adding to the thrill. The views from the top are simply breathtaking, showcasing the stunning panorama of the Rofan range. While not the most physically demanding 7- I've encountered, 'Love Story' demands precision, thoughtful footwork, and a good head for heights. It's a classic Rofan climb and highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable alpine sport climbing adventure.
