Climbing "Chickenheads-Plaisir - Au Süd" (7-) on Rotkopf is a fantastic experience! The route is aptly named, offering engaging and fun climbing on featured rock. The 'Chickenheads' themselves are generally solid and provide excellent handholds, making for enjoyable upward progress. The 'Plaisir' aspect is certainly present – the climbing is technically interesting but not overly strenuous, allowing you to focus on movement and enjoy the exposure. Being located 'Au Süd' (on the South side) means you'll likely be bathed in sunshine, adding to the pleasantness of the climb. The crux sections require some thoughtful footwork and precise holds, but overall, it's a well-protected and accessible route for climbers comfortable at the 7- grade. It's a great choice for a sunny day on Rotkopf and a satisfying send!
