Climbing "Bokovka" (grade 4+) in Sokolík is a classic Czech rock climbing experience. The route itself is typically well-protected with bolts, making it a good introduction to climbing in this area. While the grade suggests relative ease, the rock can be polished in places, demanding careful footwork and mindful movement. The crux often involves a slightly overhanging section near the middle, requiring a bit of power and good body positioning. The views from the top are rewarding, offering a panorama of the surrounding forests and rock formations of the Bohemian Paradise. Remember to check current conditions and bring appropriate gear, including a 60m rope is usually sufficient.
