Rope Length: 70m

Climbing "Ernas Angst" (6) in the Vienna Woods was a memorable experience. The route, as the name suggests, has a few sections that definitely get your heart racing. The initial slab felt deceptively easy, lulling you into a false sense of security before the crux. This involved a delicate traverse with small crimps and high feet, demanding precision and balance. The rock quality was generally good, though a few loose holds kept you on your toes. The exposure added to the thrill, especially higher up. It wasn't the hardest 6 I've ever climbed, but the combination of technical moves, exposure, and mental game made it a satisfying and rewarding ascent. Definitely worth checking out if you're climbing in the Vienna Woods and looking for a route that challenges both your body and mind.
