Climbing 'Hilde' at a C grade was an unexpectedly delightful experience. As a C-grade route, it's firmly in the accessible category, making it perfect for beginners or those looking for a fun, less strenuous day out. It wasn't about pushing physical limits, but rather about enjoying the rhythm of movement on the rock. The fixed ropes and occasional ladders were well-placed, offering security without detracting from the adventure. The views from the route were spectacular, unfolding with every meter gained. 'Hilde' truly offers a fantastic introduction to climbing, providing a sense of achievement and incredible vistas without the intimidation of higher grades. It was a joyful ascent, leaving me refreshed and with a smile.
