Climbing the Springlessteig (Grade A) is a fantastic introduction to via ferratas. While graded A, it's more of a secured hiking trail than a demanding climb, making it perfect for beginners or those looking for a scenic and enjoyable outing. Expect relatively short sections of steel cable, easy scrambling, and well-placed steps. The views are generally rewarding, often overlooking pleasant valleys or interesting rock formations. It's important to still wear proper via ferrata equipment – a helmet, harness, and via ferrata lanyard – as a precaution against slips or falls. Check weather conditions before you go, as even an easy via ferrata can become treacherous in wet or icy conditions.
