The Heini Holzer Klettersteig, graded B/C, is a fantastic via ferrata located in the stunning Rosengarten group of the Dolomites. Its B/C grading makes it accessible to experienced beginners or intermediate climbers. While not overly strenuous, it features some exposed sections and requires a good head for heights. The views throughout the climb are simply breathtaking, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding Dolomite peaks, including the iconic Vajolet Towers. The route typically starts near the Kölner Hütte (Rifugio Fronza alle Coronelle) and involves climbing over rocky outcrops, along ledges, and up short vertical sections secured by steel cables. The descent often retraces the ascent path, allowing for another perspective on the incredible scenery. It's a relatively short but incredibly rewarding Klettersteig, perfect for a half-day adventure combining moderate climbing with unparalleled natural beauty, making it a must-do for via ferrata enthusiasts visiting the area.
