Climbing 'Les Angelots (1)' with its Grade B classification was a truly delightful experience. Despite the seemingly straightforward grade, which might suggest an easy day out, this route delivered a fantastic blend of technicality and engaging movement. The rock, often a pristine limestone, provided excellent friction, making precise footwork a joy. From the initial delicate slab moves, transitioning into a surprisingly sustained crack section, Les Angelots (1) kept me thoroughly engaged. The crux, while not overly strenuous, demanded careful route-finding and precise balance, especially around an airy traverse. Reaching the anchor, the panoramic views were incredibly rewarding, a perfect capstone to a thoroughly enjoyable climb. It's a testament to routes that offer far more than their modest grade might imply, making it a highly recommended classic.
