Climbing Via Mirta (with the Lomasti Variant) on the eastern forepeak of Creta di Pricot is a rewarding adventure for climbers comfortable with grade 5+ (UIAA). This multi-pitch route offers a mix of challenging climbing moves, stunning Dolomite scenery, and a satisfying sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit.

The Lomasti variant adds a slightly more demanding (and potentially exposed) alternative to the original route, often involving steeper sections and more intricate route finding. Expect a good level of physical fitness and solid technical skills, including secure belaying techniques and efficient rope management. The rock quality is generally good, but be aware of potential loose holds, especially on less frequented sections. Adequate protection can be placed, and some sections may require reliance on existing pitons.

This climb is typically a day-long endeavor. Start early to allow ample time for climbing, rappelling, and any unforeseen delays. Don't forget essential gear: a reliable rope, quickdraws, a set of cams or nuts, a helmet, climbing shoes, and appropriate clothing for changing weather conditions. A topographic map or guidebook detailing the route is highly recommended, as is experience with alpine climbing. Above all, approach with respect for the mountain environment and enjoy the magnificent views from the top.
