Jolly

Climbing "Jolly," a route graded 3+ (UIAA scale, roughly equivalent to 5.4-5.5 YDS), in the Dachstein Mountains offers a fantastic introduction to multi-pitch alpine climbing. The Dachstein, with its dramatic limestone faces, provides a stunning backdrop for this relatively accessible adventure.

The route itself, while not technically demanding, still requires careful attention to detail and good rope management. Expect exposed traverses, interesting holds, and satisfying sections of vertical climbing. The rock quality is generally good, though some sections may require brushing.
