Prague and its surroundings offer almost 900 routes on climbing.place. Right in the city are the sport crags of Branické skály (well bolted, also good for multi-pitch practice) and Borová skála; nearby, Hlubočepské plotny has sparse protection and suits only bold climbers. Outside the city there are the beginner-friendly Skály u Zákolan, Zubák in the Radotín valley and the cliffs at Řež, which offer the most interesting trad climbing around Prague.

Bouldering is mainly in Divoká Šárka, with more on Holý vrch and Kozí hřbety. With children, try Skály u Zákolan, Vinořské písky, Lojzovka near Středokluky or Skalka U Přívozu.
