Climbing 'Malfatti', graded A/B, was an absolute pleasure, a perfect introduction to alpine ascents without demanding technical prowess. The route unfolded beautifully, guiding us upwards along well-marked paths, occasionally aided by fixed ropes or short ladder sections that added a touch of exhilarating exposure without significant challenge. Each step brought increasingly magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and distant peaks, making the steady ascent feel effortless. Reaching the summit offered a truly breathtaking reward: a 360-degree vista that felt earned yet incredibly accessible. The return journey was equally enjoyable, a relaxed descent that allowed us to savour the changing light and reflect on a truly fulfilling day. 'Malfatti' proved to be a delightful mountain experience, combining gentle adventure with stunning natural beauty.
